The yoga week at the Malga Zanga estate is
for everyone who wants to enjoy an inspiring
holiday and all that makes life in Italy so special.
To rest, to get new energy and to be pampered.
With numerous activities, but also with moments
of reflection. Sitting at the table, enjoying the
quality of the food, the company of like-minded
people and the restful atmosphere of a warm
summer night. Or outside on a bench, gazing
at the setting sun changing into a sky with
thousands of stars. Together, breathlessly
enjoying nature at its finest.
It is in particular the combination of physical
exercise and mental relaxation which makes
this week so precious. Additionally, our offer
distinguishes itself by expertise, personal
attention and love for life in Italy.
Lively and active
In the lessons we work with power yoga, a form of
yoga which resembles the yoga everyone knows,
but is more lively and active in the way it is
performed. ‘Power’ does not stand for force but
for energy. By practising concentration, breathing
technique and carefully designed patterns of
movement, you learn to know your body again
and in a different way. This will make you
experience more tranquillity and freedom of
movement straightaway. Great for your daily life
at home, at work, in relationships or when
exercising.
By practising power yoga you feel more energetic
and fitter, your muscles are toned and your
breathing improves. But power yoga also gives
you something to hold on to, it ensures relaxation,
a balanced way of dealing with food and a better
way of handling physical complaints. Power yoga
works, also for you!
Varied and inviting
During your holiday a yoga lesson is scheduled
for each morning, during which you get to know
the value of power yoga. Which is not about
‘being the best’ but about your possibilities and
wishes. An offer that takes you into account.
A balanced and inviting programme for beginners
and more experienced guests which is about
exercise, relaxation and having fun together.
Each lesson lasts 2,5 hours. This may seem long,
but as you will see … time flies.

Harmony and inner peace
Power yoga is based on ashtanga yoga, a form of
yoga developed by K. Pattabhi Jois. Ashtanga
yoga is based on physical exercises which help
you find harmony and inner peace. Like vinyasa,
a technique of moving while powerfully breathing
in and out. Or tristhana, where posture, breathing
and concentration become one whole. But first
and foremost; power yoga is fun to do and
suitable for everyone and all ages.
The sun on your skin
All the lessons take place at the country estate
you are staying at for this week, on a beautifully
decorated platform in the open air. That is
combining pleasure and pleasure. You engage in
yoga with a view of the mountains while
at the same time you feel the air around you and
the sun on your skin. A beneficial combination.
Every session finishes with relaxation and
wonderful music. You leave the lesson with a
sense of pleasure and satisfaction, ready for
lunch. You do not have to go far for that, as the
yoga platform is situated very close to the
restaurant. Here you will find a beautifully laid
table already waiting for you. All you have to
do is sit down. Great, isn’t it?
Buon appetito!
The dishes from the restaurant originate from
the typically Italian cuisine and are prepared with
honest produce from the region, such as olive oil,
cheese, plums, polenta, honey and fine wines.
Five days of enjoying full board. The remaining
two days you have the opportunity to choose
where you want to have dinner.
That way you can get to know the traditional
cuisine of Trentino, where authentic recipes
based on the farmers’ tradition are cherished.
Think carne salada, canederli or strangolapreti.
A visit to a mountain cabin or a cantina is not to
be missed. To taste, to discover and to be
pampered tastefully… buon appetito!
Pure enjoyment
Besides the morning programme, you can select
during this week various activities, such as; a
lovely yet light hike with a guide, a boat trip on
Lake Garda to the idydllic town of Limone,
shopping in Riva del Garda, a visit to Verona,
the city of opera, or an excursion to Venice, the
city of lagoons. All with the motto ‘no obligations,
only options’. Perhaps you prefer a beneficial massage. Or you would rather give
in to the oasis
of tranquillity at the country estate, which is such
a great place to stay.
Enjoying yourself with a book under a tree,
swinging in a hammock and sipping a cool
glass of white wine. The choice is yours.
This is Italian ‘dolce far niente’ at its best, or in
other words purely enjoying ‘sweet doing nothing’
and life as it presents itself.
Programme
The week’s programme is basically as follows;
the day of arrival is devoted to getting to know
each other and a communal welcome dinner at
night. Five mornings are filled with a yoga
session. In the afternoon you can
take part in a relaxing activity. The other days
you are free to spend any way you like.
The programme ends on the last day with a
communal breakfast.
Sunday:
Check-in at the hotel/country house from 16.00
hrs. At 19.30 hrs. you are expected for an
aperitivo della casa followed by the welcome
dinner.
If you arrive at Verona Airport after 20.00 hrs.,
the restaurant will provide a light meal later
that night. In that case the first yoga lesson
on Monday will start half an hour later.
After all, you are on holiday, right?
Monday:
The first day is devoted to acclimatizing, the first
yoga lesson, exploring the environment and
having dinner together at 19.30 hrs.
Monday through Saturday (outline):
09.30 - 12.00 Yoga (*)
12.30 - 13.30 Lunch (or picnic)
14.00 - 19.00 Afternoon programme (**)
19.30 - Dinner
(*) With the exception of Wednesday.
This is a day you can spend any way you like.
Enjoying doing nothing at all? Or a day’s

It is up to you. We will be happy to assist
you with excursion tips and reservations.
(**) At the beginning of the week we
will decide on the definitive afternoon
programme in consultation.
Sunday:
The last day ends after breakfast.
